I had my surgery on Monday and weighed 257 before reporting to the hospital. I finally got home on Thur with 20lbs gained from all of those IV bags. But not worried about it, as I know it’s not fat, but water weigh gain. I had a couple of complications and was on the table for 4 /12 hours. Then spent the night in recovery. I was very happy that when I wake up I was not in a lot of pain. Even with 10 new wholes in my tummy. Yes I look like a pin couch in. I did not have the gas pain a lot of folks talk about, but the left should blade did show up on Weds out of the blue.

It was really good to sleep in my own bed last night, but was tricky as I sleep on my side or stomach. It has been rough getting the water in today, and the protein is a secondary goal to work on another day after I get the water in. I did find the KetogenX Vegetable Soup tasted pretty good. Which is the first thing I have eaten since Monday that I even come close to liking.
