Yes you definitely have to stick with what is working. And it sounds delicious. It does get easier. I was not able to drink much initially either but it will get better. I still have to remind myself sometimes. The supplements are important for us because we can't get what we need from food alone. The one I have the biggest issue is my multi vitamin. It always has given me indigestion. When you feel up to it, you should definitely begin with supplements. All of mine are chewable or dissolvable except my multi and stool softener. Are your bowels working ok? If I don't take a stool softener I get constipated really easy. And solids are a lot harder since you can only eat a tiny amount.
Glad to hear you're doing well and recovery is going smooth. It varies from person to person so there's no way of knowing how it'll affect you. Are you taking supplements? I take a multi vitamin, a calcium supplement, biotin, stool softener, and B12. We can't eat enough to get what we need to stay healthy. And focus on your protein and water (or other liquid) intake. Glad you're feeling well. It gets better and better every day.
How are you doing Rose. I'm booked for a sleeve on the 18th of Jan. coming soon
Also sending congratulations for your surgery and hope all is well with your recovery,
Congratulations on your surgery today!!! I wish you a smooth surgery and a speedy recovery!
I also have Dr. Almanza, my surgery is scheduled for the 11th. PLEASE post a blog post of your post-op experience, symptoms you experienced, thoughts, etc. It would REALLY help me to feel more comfortable to be able to read your experiences. I'm having surgery alone and am needing a bit of extra reassurance now that it's soo close.
Good luck on your surgery tomorrow! Hope your recovery is smooth! Congrats!!
