Thank you so much for the information!!! How kind of you to share your information! My email is pkoglin0801@gmail.com. I would really appreciate the paperwork. Surgery is Saturday... new season!

Yes, I think if we ran Zeke more and did not spike the ball to stop the clock the Green Bay game would have been a different result. Not sure I would want rookies to win the Super Bowl first year, now they will come back even more hungry! Jason Garret getting coach of the year made me almost vomit. Maybe if he wins a Super Bowl... I want to be a fan of Garret but he frustrates me. My surgery day is next Tuesday, meeting with surgeon and doing final blood work this afternoon. On day 11 of liquid diet, I actually started 1 day early as it was a Monday (lol). Have any good Italian recipes post VSG when I can start adding back normal foods? I am Italian as well. Rossi is my last name. Have a great day!

I can tell from your profile photo that you are a very smart person! Love me some Cowboys!! Dak and Zeke were awesome this year. Felt bad for Tony but what a great season. My wife and I flew out for the final game at Texas Stadium against the Ravens several years ago. I also lived in Round Rock, TX in the early 2000's so went to many games but we stunk back then..... BTW, it is great that you are supporting many people with your experiences and guidance.

Would you mind sharing your vitamin regimen, macros, and favorite proteins? I, too, am short (5'0") and my surgery is Feb 11th.

Omg Christie13 I had a horrible experience. First my surgery was delayed 1 hour and then I go in and apparently my liver was inflamed and swollen. The doctor proceeded to do my sleeve and then remove my gallbladder then he was going to repair my hernia be split my liver. It freaked him out so he packed my liver and closed me up. So no repair on the hernia. He told my mother I'm so small I'm like a compact car that it was hard to move thing around. The hospital I was in was the worst 20 mins before nurses would come. I got released Thursday evening with no pain pills no meds. The gas pain is the worst my throats is so sore and I started my period and I'm bleeding so heavy and they are telling me this is all expected. I'm so thankful each day is getting somewhat better but I am concerned about the liver and Heavy bleeding

Thank you! No I'm not taking any supplements. I've been thinking about calcium and trying flintiness vitamins because I can't take any other (make me sick), but I don't feel weak or anything. I am currently able to drink 1.5 protein shakes and working on getting 2 in. I do drink less liquid than I should, but getting there. As days go by, I'm able to intake more liquid.

I just tried cooking my own version of chicken broth with zuccini, carrot, onion, and cilantro and a boneless skinless chicken breast for flavor. I took carrots and zuccini and onion and blended them with some of the broth....it was heaven....I can't take any of the other broths I used to. I'm sticking to this now.

Thank you! Sorry for delay in response. I had been really tied up catching up with home/kids/school. My surgery went very well. I am approaching 2 weeks on the 18th and feel good.

My first day was rough! Kind of expected it since I've never been a jogger or runner. I wasn't able to finish the program the first day. But I'm going to keep on trying. I was sick for a few days but I'm getting back into it now. Trying to go to gym at least 4-5 days a week now. How are you doing with the program?

20 weeks-Car Accident-51/71-Life is Grand!

by Christie13 on 03-23-2017 at 07:18 PM
So I am 20 weeks out today. I can't believe it! I swear when I was going through the insurance process and waiting for approval the time was sooo slow. Now it is flying by and I am loving life! I have lost 51 lbs post op and 71 lbs total. I really did not think the sleeve would work this well for me. I was skeptical because so many things have failed over a years. It sounded too good to be true. Turns out....the sleeve and me are a good fit!

So I was on my way home from work

Squatty Potty-TMI-Mother in Law-Rash

by Christie13 on 03-19-2017 at 09:18 PM
So some of you may be like me and have poop issues since being sleeved. I take a daily stool softener but get constipated still. And when I do go, I have a hard time. LOL. I used to have a stool that I used for years that was a stool from when I was a child. It was perfect. It made going so comfortable. Over the years of travelling the world it somehow got lost form one location to the next. Anyways, a while back they on Shark Tank they had a Squatty Potty. It is supposed to put you in

Confession Time: Why I weigh myslef every day

by Christie13 on 03-18-2017 at 08:57 PM
I weigh myself every day. Actually every morning and every night. If I go in the bathroom then I will weigh myself. I like to see exactly what my body is doing. I feel it definitely keeps me on track. I know it is also going to be beneficial down the road when I am in the maintenance phase. Because as soon as I see myself regaining I will be able to put a stop to it before it gets out of control.
I have seen so many sleevers come back desperate for help when they have gained 30+ pounds.

19 weeks-Who's that girl?-Cloud 9

by Christie13 on 03-16-2017 at 08:10 PM
19 weeks. Sometimes it astonishes me when I think about what I looked like just 19 weeks ago. I was puffy and bloated and miserable. I couldn't see my feet. My thighs were very large and caused so much friction they could start a fire. Shopping was no fun...everything looked like crap on me and did not fit right. I hated being in pictures and tried to avoid them at all costs. I ate way more than my husband and was always hungry. The most humiliating part is that at 4'11" I weighed more

Work Health Assessment-Rocking My Sleeve-Healthy and Loving it!!

by Christie13 on 03-14-2017 at 10:07 PM
Had my health assessment at work today. I rocked those numbers!!! The only number that I was not ideal/optimal was my BMI...which is still at 27. But I am soooo close to not being overweight anymore. It was a fasting blood draw. Unfortunately my appointment was scheduled for 1155 since it is at work and we have a lot of employees. I could not get anything earlier. I can tell you that with being thinner and having a little belly made the fasting for so long difficult. I was starving. When
