Thanks everyone. I go in early so will post asap today
Good luck on your surgery tomorrow!! Reach out if you have any questions or need any support. Congrats!
Good luck with everything, it will go great!
Good luck tomorrow!!
I'm packed and ready to go. Feeling condident in my choice and can't wait to start loosing.
I'm doing really good. Approaching 2 weeks post op on the 18th. Healing well and no pain. It has been hard staying on clear liquids since January 1st (from Jan 1-5 I had pre-op diet on clear liquids), but it will be worth it. I will be starting pureed phase in the next couple days. I have lost 12 lbs since surgery and 30 total from my highest weight (240) since December 1st. I'm feeling really good and excited to be starting pureed veggies with broth/creme soon.
You can do it!!! Just stay focused on your end goal.
I downloaded a cool app on apple store called "Happy Scale" and track my weight loss progress there...It gave the the ability to break up my total desired pounds to lose into 10 mini goals and it is very motivating to see how you achieve one...rather than only think about the ultimate long term goal.
Great!! Your journey to be a more fabulous you is about to begin! Good luck on the fast.
Thanks Ladies I start my fast on Sunday
You will be fine. Mexico requires longer training for the medical staff. I was horrified as well, but talking about it and getting support will help you through this. And after the surgery is over, we both can say "I told ya so" to ourselves lol
Hello and thank you!!
I'm doing great-have had no real issues except for slight dehydration in first couple of weeks post surgery-i have no regrets and I'm super happy with my sleeve-im 1 1/2 years out and I've lost 100 pounds. have sorta been stalled for about 6 mos but I'm ok with that cause my body has reset to this being my new normal weight-just getting back on track-you will be treated well in Tijuana-staff and Drs are great-ask lots of questions if you have any-you will stay in hotel after your surgery and nurses are awesome there-my best advice to you is to get up walking as soon as yu can and walk often if you can only go short distances-it helps remove pain from gas they put into your abdomen and gets your bowels to wake up faster and will relieve some of the nausea and vomiting if you have any-i had no nausea and no pain -dr almanza is a very upbeat approachable dr who has had the sleeve himself-plus he and his brother are easy on the eyes-good luck
