Today or tomorrow I plan on talking to my girls about what happens with the surgery. Why I am having it and tell them what will need and answer any questions that they have. They are teens and really great kids. Any suggestions?

I have been planning and prepping for the liquid diet. It sounds horrible, however I have decided that I am going to ignore those feelings. I am in the final stretch, well stretch~ish. I am at the point when I am thinking about all of the food I will miss. Sushi, stuffed cabbage, rice, angel food cake and so on. I have decided the cut off date for food I can't eat after the surgery is Monday. This will be about 5 weeks out. I know that after I will not care. I am Ellen and there are 7 weeks before my surgery. I assume that my fears and feelings are the same as many.
