I'm not sure how all this blog stuff works but here goes.
I'm 3 days post op now. My pain level is manageable. I'm learning that I must sleep elevated well enough of an incline otherwise I get heartburn. Also, I'm trying hard to make sure I get enough fluids and protein, I even keep a water bottle bedside so if I wake at night I take a sip. My new stomach can hold about an ounce of fluid at a time so I have to really listen to my body. I'm not hungry at all ever so that is good.

I am scheduled to have my sleeve done by Doctor Emma Patterson in Portland in early June. Are there a lot of men that have this surgery?
My highest weight was about 370lbs summer of 2014, I'm at 312 now. I am eating less and exercising, but I've yo yo'd my whole life. I'm determined to make this life change. My mom died obese at 58 years old, I want to live a long life.
