Hey Denise! thanks for your message, I'm very happy you are doing good! I didn't post much either (hotspot=weak internet connexion) since I was in France for two months to take care of the remodeling of our house (we should leave Taipei during Summer 2017), had some health issues, a virus, took corticoids, gained weight, injured my knee and ankle in an accident, was stuck on a stall for a long time and suddenly it was all gone with a bonus :-) I see my doc Saturday, and I will try to exercise more very soon like you: I know it will help a lot! Take care!

Hi Densel, how are you doing, I read that the holiday was a success for you, WELL DONE, I just wanted to ask if you know about taking meds again, can't get through to my team or rather they are not getting back to me, I really need my regular pain relief for my joints so I can get moving again, BTW I have stopped weighing myself for now so nit sure about Wright loss yet, Friday is weigh day

Thank you! I know when I look at my old picture I can hardly believe that it's me! I never felt like I was 355 pounds on the inside that's for sure. In my head I'm more like 200 pounds. Not skinny, but not extremely obese either lol

    Hi Densol,
Sounds like a good way to do it! I am now overthinking it! I also have trouble maintaining -- I'm all or nothing. They recommend not drinking for first year because of transfer addiction Are you avoiding social situations at the moment?
I'm sure when scales start moving again, it'll be another fast drop. Do you mind me asking how much they charged? Op with SS was going to be 11.5k.
What time is the meeting on 5th?
    Many thanks.

    Hi Densol,
A little bit about me first. I am 45, 210 lbs & first looked into this 5 years ago during a very tough stage with my husband. I researched the operations & went to see Mr. Shaw Somers, the surgeon who corrected Ann Diamond's failed band. I bottled out in the end.
This year, again at a time when my husband & I are pretty much splitting up, I decided to go back to Mr. Somers. I had my op booked in for 1st Feb but after reading a post from someone who wished they had tried other ways to lose (last ditch attempt), I felt I needed to do this too. I also want to try & separate this decision with what's going on with my marriage.
Other challenges in my decision was that Mr. Somers operates at BMI Clementine hospital in Harrow (closest) & because I won't have any support with this & I can't drive post-op, was a real issue to overcome.
I am, therefore, curious about Mr. Mannur -- how did you find him? Have you been happy with him & the support at the Spire?
I can see your progress has been great & you're doing so well. I worry as I have a tough job & need to concentrate but sounds like the fatigue is hard. I also worry about the excess skin as I don't want to undergo anymore operations relate to this.
Hope you don't mind me sharing all this with you & would love to hear more about your decision to do this.
    Many thanks,
    Mel

by densol on 03-08-2017 at 03:53 AM
Now this next 10 pounds really took a long time to come off !! Ive been straying and making bad food choices and going up and down by 5 pounds since before Christmas but a bout of severe sickness and upset stomach last week has really reset my pouch !

My weight is falling off again and my restriction is super tight again Im taking advantage of this by being super strict. Im off to WDW and cruise at the end of next month and I want to get a few more pounds off for that

Yay ! Smashed the 100 pounds sleeve weight loss :-))

by densol on 10-23-2016 at 05:47 AM
That last 10 pounds went quite quick really ! I joined slimming world 2 months ago and this has really kept my weight in check and eating very healthy, and most importantly my wine drinking ! Instead of opening a bottle of wine each night, I ONLY drink when Im going out, so one to two nights a week only. This has made a real difference to speed up the loss I never eat candy, cakes or cookies etc - so the food eating has been cracked !

I completed my doctors gym referral programme

Finally lost 90 pounds :)

by densol on 09-13-2016 at 04:54 AM
- here is a pic of me ( on a tram in San Francisco at 330 pounds lol ) and one taken last Wednesday.

How long did that next 10 pounds take? - I last blogged in July at losing 80 pounds! So now its 90 pounds with my sleeve journey ( started Jan 2016) and 113 altogether. Unfortunately over the summer my son wasn't well. He is on the mend now, but we had to cancel our two week med cruise. Usually feeling so stressed worrying about him I would have eaten
