Hey hey, good to see you, things are going great. I have started eating baby food now, stiches removed and incisions healed nicely. My portions are about a quarter of what they used to be although i havent started eating solids. Disney was great, my wifa and i loved it. Im back at work, in the gym seven days a week, only walking and only for one hour. No regrets whatsoever. Cant drink much and still have to drink slowly. When i started my ten day pre op liquid diet i weighed 454lbs, i weighed yesterday and im down to 399.3lbs, yes 55lbs in just under four weeks. Glad to see you are doing ok, Roger is great also. Well we are counting down huh? I started my Pre op diet yesterday, it has not been too bad, I do
get hungry, but I get me some broth or something when I do.

I do something like that with my drinks, take a sip at every TV commercial breaks.
So far I have lost 10 ponds on the pre surgery diet and this is day 11 post op and lost an additional 15 pounds.

If you don't notice the weight loss, try using a tape and record the weekly loss.
I'm taking it very slow, still on liquids for another week or so. Can't wait to try tomato soup and V8 juice.

Yes, that helps so much! I would have never thought to do that!

I share your fears.....especially about eating fast. I've tried eating to a timer. I set my phone timer to 30 or 45 seconds and then bite, chew and swallow as slowly as possible. I can't take another bite until the time goes off. I hope this helps.
