  1. Thanks SO much for the kind words my surgery went very smooth,I had my grandma, mom, brother, and sister for support and help when I got home. I couldn't have asked for a better family. I also managed to only have to have 2 lap holes! SO my scarring will be incredibly minimal any suggestions on what to eat in this full liquid stage?? I ordered some Lean Dessert Protein (I hear its realllly yummy) and I'm going to sample some Click Vanilla Latte protein coffee Have a great day everyone

Welcome to the board and congratulations on your decision to have the gastric sleeve.

I have a few suggestions. For a clear protein, I suggest Protica Profect 50. It is a whopping 50 grams of protein in a 3.2 oz vial Protica - Detail

For a really great tasting protein powder, I suggest Max Protein. You can purchase at GNC or online. SEI Pharmaceuticals

To keep track of your calorie intake and measurements and weight. FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal This is really useful when you think you've stalled on your weight loss. You can look at what you actually measure!

Last but not least this blog - theworldaccordingtoeggface She had a different surgery, but posts some great recipe's and suggestions.

I was on clear liquids for a week, full liquids for another week, puree'd foods for a week, soft foods for a week and then slowly moved on to regular foods while still including the previous foods into my daily food intake. Just don't get ahead of yourself. Take small sips and then small bites. Don't be in a big hurry to eat whatever you want.

Keep a positive attitude and you will do great!
  6. Hope your surgery goes smoothly!
