WOW! Look at you!! You look TERRIFIC!
Looking Good
That's great to hear. I'm so glad you've had great luck. Things are good with me. I'm still losing. I'm down to 130. My family is worried that I have lost too much. But I feel great. I go see my surgeon on the 31st just to ease their minds. I don't get on here much. School & work keep me busy and too tired to get on the computer too much.
Hey! It's going good, having a good day so far, how did that salmon go down? My fish seems to be Tilapia. I can also eat turkey burgers, well not the whole thing of course, lol.
Thanks!!
Good morning...how was your weekend? I met with Dr. Le on Friday (did you know he was on the surgery team for Steve Jobs?!) and managed to stick to the meal plan over the weekend. Walked for a good 3 hours at the San Jose Flea Market yesterday.
Well now that I looked at your profile, I see you did have your surgery. How awesome !! Congrats. How has the sleeve been treating you ?
Just checking back with you to see if you had your surgery yet..
I have met Dr. Le a few times. The other Dr. Li spoke at my orientation, and I do prefer Dr. Le because he is more down-to-earth. My surgery date is October 19th. I meet with Dr. Le again next Friday, and just have 4 pounds to lose between now and then. My pre-op class is on the 11th. I'm ready! How is everything going with you?
Hey there good luck with ur op today! i wish u a painless speedy recovery!
Wishing you the best this week! We have the same surgeon...I'm looking forward to hearing about your experience! If there is anything I can do to help this week please let me know.
It will work for you. 8 pounds isn't much to lose in order to have surgery. Better than 58 It will be so worth it. I wish you all the best. I have been doing good. Thanks for the compliment. I feel really good. I think I am at my weight that I will stay at. I run between 142 - 145. Much better than the 224 that I was pre-surgery. Keep in touch & keep me updated.
Just wondering how things were going with you.
Thankyou!!
Welcome to the board and congratulations on your decision to have the gastric sleeve. I have a few suggestions. For a clear protein, I suggest Protica Profect 50. It is a whopping 50 grams of protein in a 3.2 oz vial Protica - Detail For a really great tasting protein powder, I suggest Max Protein. You can purchase at GNC or online. SEI Pharmaceuticals To keep track of your calorie intake and measurements and weight. FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal This is really useful when you think you've stalled on your weight loss. You can look at what you actually measure! Last but not least this blog - theworldaccordingtoeggface She had a different surgery, but posts some great recipe's and suggestions. I was on clear liquids for a week, full liquids for another week, puree'd foods for a week, soft foods for a week and then slowly moved on to regular foods while still including the previous foods into my daily food intake. Just don't get ahead of yourself. Take small sips and then small bites. Don't be in a big hurry to eat whatever you want. Keep a positive attitude and you will do great!
