Tomorrow will be one month post-op. I've had some ups and downs since having it. Thankfully the downs have nothing to do with the surgery. Just newer health issues that have come to light since then.
The upside is I find I am not tempted to eat foods that I should not be. I am thankful I realized quickly what my limits are and don't overdo it and wind up vomiting.

Four days ago I had my surgery and it was really the best choice I could have made for myself. Obesity runs rampant through my family and I did not want to be a part of that. My children are all smaller so I want to be in good health for them. Not to mention, fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis are enough reasons to want to get this weight down as well.
