Hello thanks for writing to me...I know it's difficult I have been stuck on 172 for what seems like a month and I always felt I didn't eat that much ..well obviously I did because you don't get to 247 pounds without shoveling it in.. But I didn't constantly eat... Think my thyroid and hormones contributed to a lot of my weight too. It used to irritate me immensely that some people could eat so much more and stay a smaller size and I would only have to look at a cake and I had put on 10 pounds!!
I had a great surprise today I hopped on the scales and I have lost 3 pounds so at last my body has decided to move again I am happy I am now 169 pounds I can honestly say I can't remember being that size for 20 years...
But my big thing is being healthy I can now run and jump about and be like the 30 something that I am not! Add another 20 years and that's my age but I feel like a new person!

Glad to hear it went well. Today I am 6 days out, and feeling great. I put in a full day of work and I'm tired, but it was a good day. I look forward to having a few weeks behind me.

Hi Trisha. Good luck with your surgery. I'd love to hear about your experience with Dr. Ortiz and Hospital Mi. I'm booked for surgery on Oct 27th (without a companion) so I'm a little nervous about everything. Any hints about the experience would be much appreciated
