    Hello. I am having my sleeve done on 7-25-13 with Dr. Almanza also. My husband had the surgery June 2012 and has great success. Look forward to seeing you in Mexico.

    There is not a day that passes that I do not have some sort of anxiety filled with nervous excitement and fear that my insurance will not go thru. That is my biggest fear lately. I do have dreams almost nightly of some sort that I think I related to it all as well. I also have a few nights a week where I twilight sleep only and feel unrested in the morning. I guess you can say I am hanging in there! I know all will be OK tho and have a lot of confidence in the bariatric center I chose.

    Oh and I had to stop watching the videos....

    Congratulations on making the choice to change your life. I was sleeved Jan 12,2013 in Tijuana, Mexico and it was the best thing I could have done. I am part of a great support group on Facebook. It's for people who are thinking about weight loss surgery, pre-op and post-op. The group it set to secret. No one on your Facebook page will know your a member of the group or see any post you make. Dropping weight even before pre-op?

Ok so I have managed to lose 15 lbs in the past 3 weeks and I am not even in the pre op phase. I have just been trying to prepare my body and mind for what is coming. I cannot say I am doing alot of walking or exercise but I have cut out all fast food, replaced a meal a day with protein shake and just overall been much more aware of what I am putting in the engine. Is this just a good jump start? Has anyone else experienced this? I am not complaining of course and I feel really good. Maybe
