4 weeks + since my operation, I feel really good on the whole, had a lot of trouble with upset stomach, but seems to be a little better last couple of days. On normal food now more or less, not able to eat much a couple of spoonfuls, but i feel ok on that. So glad i have had this op, please any of you waiting don't be afraid it is great. Will keep you all updated, oh yes weight, stayed pretty even the last two weeks but when you consider i lost 3 stone in 3 weeks my body has to even out a little.

Thank you for all your good wishes, my op was cancelled at the last min for a week later on the 7th june, get to hospital and at 5pm cancelled again!!! new op date was 22 june and all went well. In hospital for 2 days very sore,but so worth the effort i hope!! weight is going down and the surgery wounds are healing well. Just started on puree food and to taste something normal is wonderful. Can eat about 2 x tablespoons and feel very full, feel like feeding the grandchildren again, making all puree food!! Will stay for about 10 days on puree then onto soft food, getting there slowly.
