    I also had the band and had it removed. I tell you I have my life back and I'm so happy. I still have a long way to go but no more throwing up. Getting stuck life is so much better. The recover was very quock. I was out of work for two weeks. The hardest part was the liquids for two weeks. I still have a hard tine getting my liquids in but I am managing get in the protein requirements. Best decision I made in awhile. Hope that helps.
