Hi Amy: I too am 'lower weight' at 210 lbs. People ask me why, when I'm not very large, am I getting surgery (oct. 3/11). The way I see it, there's no point in waiting until we're worse off. My knees are feeling a little iffy, got some other hassles too. It's great to see your progress - inspiring!

OMG thank you!! That info helps; thanks for sharing your experience with me. You look GREAT!! I'm so excited. I'm not telling anyone but my mom and brother about the surgery because I don't want to deal with the slack from folks giving me a hard time lol, but I'll eventually tell 1 by 1 I'm sure.

Hi, I just joined here. I see that you got the surgery at a starting weight of 186. I'm 198 and having the surgery Sept. 20th. How has the losing process been for you? I see your down in the 140's in just 3 months, but what's been your battles? Can you give me a small overview of your experience? I'm very curious as a lot of people on here weigh in the 200's and 300's, so I'm just curious how the road is for those in the 100's. Thanks!!

Doing alright here, too. I just came off a 2 week plateau, but I'm back to losing again. I've had a difficult time fitting all of my water in, too, but I do my best. Glad to hear from you. Keep me posted.

Hi Amy! Just wanted to stop by my fellow May-sleever's place and see how you're feeling. Everything going well?

That's great- we love our fellow admins who actually like having our kids a part of their school and culture. Most of the time it works that way, but sometimes not so much. I'm excited for the surgery. T minus eight days and counting...

    Hi Amy,
Thanks for your post. I am a school administrator too (special ed supervisor), so I was glad to see your post about returning to work. Hope all is well with you and thanks for sharing your story!
