WOW it feels like FOREVER since I have been on the forum. I hope everyone is doing well. I am almost 12 weeks out...and things are going great! I couldn't be happier with my decision. I am down 82 lbs..that does include the 14 lbs I lost before surgery. I like the use the # from the day I first met with the Dr, even though its not a surgery date # it is the day my life changed.
We had TWO tornado warnings at work today so we got to stand in a tiny room all huddled together..LOL that was
WoooHooo goodbye 2 lbs that I gained from the snowy weather! I worked 6 hours last night and apparently standing for that long helps you burn some calories..LOL. Im back to my plateau weight! Which normally I wouldn't be happy about but today I AM!
Plus..the sun is FINALLY shining here! It looks cold outside but I think Im going to be able to bundle up and take a walk! happy happy day!
I ran across this picture of my son & I when he was a baby....I miss those days! He has grown into an exceptional young man, he seriously has to be one of the easiest teenagers EVER...gets decent grades, doesn't complain about school, plays several sports, comes home when I tell him...man alive....have I been blessed in the child department ....but occasionally I miss the days when he needed me more, hugged me more, and was around more...
and of course it makes me sad..then I start

Its been snowing like mad which means instead of being outside walking (like I was the first 2.5 weeks post op) Im sitting in my house on the computer.....can you take a guess what that produced? MY FIRST PLATEAU. actually, no thats a lie....well sort of...I plateaued a few days ago..(for about 3 days) then this morning I freakin GAINED 2 lbs....Soooo Colorado I give you the middle finger...and say WHERE THE (you know what) is SPRING?!
I actually feel much better now. thank you.
I think I have posted about this before but....I am going to post again...haha. I like to celebrate every 10lbs lost...When I started my journey I was 314 lbs...so I celebrated getting under 300 (that was a freaking awesome day!!) Now every time I can say goodbye to a 10lb set its sooooo exciting for me....not only am I losing but I am moving farther and farther away from 300...
I weighed myself today and I am exactly 261....2 more lbs and I can say goodbye to the 260s FOREVER!!!! this also
