I do have my Mums support but she is not on here on this forum that is another lady with a funny name :-)
My Mum lives in the black mountains in France and I speak to her on Skype regularly. She encouraged me to do this which is good thing. How are you doing .. Isn't it great to be losing weight and becoming the real person we want to be?

Hi Teresattt1..I have just noticed your lovelly encouraging advice on my blog page.Im still figuring out this site.I am 8 days post op.Im doing well and started out at 131kg and I am down to 116.I am one of the fat people who ate very pair shaped..I always have had a small face and I now its even smaller so my bottom looks bigger.Lol..

Thanks for your lovely message you sent. Yes Bariatric vitamins are an absolute must just before and after surgery. My hospital program told us that we had to research different companies intake Building Blocks Bariatric vitamins. They are chewable I think that is a must too. But there are all sorts of Bariatric vitamin sites so good luck and if you need and more info just message me or email me on starryknyght@frontier.com
Now you see I learnt something too you take Biotin? Is that for your hair? I need to take some as my hair is already thin and I do fear it might drop out more than it is and it has been falling out a little.

Hi Teresa, I saw from your messages here that you have some issues with getting around for exercising. My doctor's office has some recommendations for exercises that are pretty low impact, with videos and such. Maybe you want to check them out? Here's a link: Exercise

Since surgery about 50lbs.. I understand about the walking.. I have to still use a cane.. I had 3 surgeries on my foot and leg then on my neck.. so I am limited to what exercise I can do. I tried to add you as a friend.. the system wouldn't let me. Please feel free to add me.. I would love to talk

I understand.. I lost allot on my own before the surgery.. but I also know that I am a food addict... and always have gained it back. I had a loss in the family and started just that.. so I decided to have the surgery.. mine was paid out of pocket.. so Mexico was where I could afford it.. They gave me excellent care... no complaints other than I was scared being out of the country where almost no one spoke english. But its not as bad as it seems and others make it out.. not for me at least.. just the one thing i recommend and it seems to of helped me. follow to the T what the doc says to eat and not eat.. made the world of difference for me... i starved with no food for 14 days prior to surgery.. lol thought i was going to lose my mind.

Hello Teresa, no I am getting my surgery done in Ottawa Ontario. I have been part of the WL clinic for over a year now. I have lost almost 60 pounds and will be starting my Optifast on the 10th of this month. I am nervous from the 'horror' stories and about the lose skin...but... anything is better then being trapped in this body of mine.

i have been so busy that I haven't even looked or checked anything online. It did go well... I wasn't sick.. just had the gas in my shoulder.. I hope it proves to be the best decision I have made thus far. Been walking as much as I can and it seems to be getting better by the day. I appreciate all you guys well wishes and I pray that your all hanging in and doing well.
