Toni, Thank you so much for your kind words!! It's amazing what losing 110# can do for you! lol It's so weird when people you've know for years don't even recognize you. It works great for the people you don't like and don't want to talk to anyways! hahahaha I have every confidence that you'll be turning heads all the way to your goal!

Its been awhile Toni! I've been thinking about you and am so happy to see you are looking GREAT! I have been in a huge stall since dropping to 168... I'm 162 now... it is taking forever at this point to lose a pound at a time, but I have had sugar and some caffeine and I was under alot of stress preparing for our vow renewal ceremony, as well as stress with the foster children we are parenting. My doctor has assured me I'm doing fine. I have gone down 12 inches in my waist and I do see it in my face and bust/collarbone. And I have more energy, which is great!! Anyhow, just saying hello and encouraging you that your weight loss is evident Hope all is well!

Sleeved or not sleeved:: I have had a gastric sleeve.

Biography:: I'm a 55 yr old semi-retired Nurse Practitioner and I currently live in Belleville Michigan, near Ann Arbor and Detroit. I was raised in New England and lived there during my first "life," but left for Manhattan in 1995, lived there 'til my husband's work relocated us in 2007. I have struggled with weight for nearly 35 years and I am absolutely tired of doing so. I do not want to live my entire life being unhealthy and overweight. I am happily married to a wonderful man and together we have five furry kids...three dogs and two cats...all of them loved and adored. I enjoy reading, writing, politics, movies & films, museums, traveling, crocheting, creating jewelry and being a loving wife, sister, friend and aunt.

After working as a Nurse Practitioner for many years and in all types of settings, I developed serious health problems shortly after relocating to Michigan. I have degenerative disc disease in my back, as well as severe osteoarthritis. Additionally, I have significant generalized pain throughout my body every day, which has been labeled as hyper-sensitive neurological disorder and fibromyalgia (although frankly, no one seems to really know what is wrong).

I have been on more diets than I can remember. Losing weight is not about beauty and vanity at this point. Losing weight is something I know I must do to improve my quality of life, which right now is not that great.
