Hey roomie! How are you doing? I have had two trips to ER for fluids and nausea shots, I just couldn't stop the dry heaves and the thought of food/drink just made it worse. I was so weak and sick I thought I had made the worst decision ever and of course the hospital staff made me feel like a fool for going to MX for surgery. But they did a CAT scan, blood work, and x-rays and everything looks good. I think I was already in dehydration mode when I got to MX you remember how many times they poked me to get a vein and I know that I never drank enough water on my liquid diet. The only thing I think that the staff could of done better with keeping us hydrated afterwards. I am feeling so much better now that I have fluids and a great nausea med. it was great getting to know you, I think you have an amazing spirit and pray that you continue to get better. P.S have lost a total of 25 lbs. 12 lbs pre-op and 13 since the surgery��

I am 6 days post op & doing pretty good. I lost 8 lbs. pre-op (5 days) and 7lbs more since surgery. I have discomfort when taking my antibiotic due to pill size & I can only drink water cold and slow. My 5 incisions are healing nicely. My experience in Mexico was pleasant. Very kind and knowledgeable staff. Beautiful hotel. Biggest issue was and still is gas discomfort.
