I have Dr. Marvin also. Do you mind if I ask what insurance you had? I have one more Nutrition class before submission to Blue Cross but have read of denials on other blogs. My BMI is 41.4, I think, with HBP and High cholesterol plus pre-diabetic. Sure would be a crush if I get denied.

HI Mellie...saw your post...how goes it fellow ebayer...I have been selling clothes on ebay for along time now...all my skinnier clothes...now I have stopped cuz I will need whats left to wear as i lose after my surgery...what part of houston are you in..I am down by southbelt/ellington area...where did you get your sleeve done at..I am going thru true results...hope all is well...

Thanks for the tip about the book, I am just now learning about this fibro stuff but the best thing I have found is that movement is the best medicine lol I am going to see if I can get that book because i am sure there is something in my diet that I havent cut out yet that might be making it worse.

Hi MellieD, how r u? Are you ready for this great adventure. My surgery date is 1/21 too. Last appt today at docs office.

I tried you send you a private message a while ago but the system was acting up and not sure if you got it or not. But I do appreciate your concern. I just wish my PCP showed as much concern and care and time as you do. Doctors in Hawaii are notoriously bad and very hard to find a caring one. Unfortunately my insurance co assigned me to him but I will be finding a new doctor and petitioning the insurance co for the change. But for now I am stuck with him. He would not even take the time to listen to why I wanted an appointment asap. Just said if it is an emergency go to the ER knowing full well the the ins wont pay if it is not a life threatening emergency. I do not feel it is my heart but rather my kidneys having trouble with the dye from the thyroid testing. If it does get worse I will go to the ER. My daughter is an RN also and isn't terribly worried yet. Thank you for your concern.
