I'm almost 32 and finally got the balls (figuratively) to see a doctor about the lap-band surgery I've been pinning all my hopes on. He was amazing. I finally felt like weight loss was a possibility for me. We talked for over an hour about what brought me to the appointment and my life-long history of obesity, my goals and what I wanted from him. I expected most of what the Dr shared with me with the exception of the gastric sleeve suggestion.
