Thanks so much Cindy, there are days when I feel like i have already come so far I shouldn't need the support I find here but then I have to remind myself that all that past baggage is still with me and I might have finally gotten rid of some of it but there is still a long mental process happening to me and those of you (like you lol) who help me so much and who find strength from me makes me feel like I am exactly where I need to be I get support and give it all in the same place and it makes this journey a lot less intimidating and i don't feel alone so again thank you for all of your support and kind words!
And I am sure you felt on top of the world when your old student said that to you those are the little NSV's that make it feel more worth it every time they happen. Congratulations on all of your success and I know you are going to get to what ever you personal goal is, I wish you all the happiness in the world!

Glad you feeling better, you've not had it easy. Hope the kids are all better soon and getting the housework done! xxx
  7. Second full day at home Things are beginning to calm down some,I managed to solve the plumbing issues that happened while I was away having surgery. My daughter is slowly cleaning up all the messes that she created on top of her regular homework and helping out with all the laundry. My oldest is recovering from a stomach virus . . . What fun and games.

In addition, my incisions are itching but the reaction to the adhesive has gone down. I keep dabbing them with neosporin ointment. Yesterday I had some issues with sugar free jello, so that is off my list. Am also mixing Gatorade with water so that I am staying really hydrated. A friend brought us home made chicken soup, my kids get the real soup and I get the broth, score.

My only regret is that I waited so long to make these changes for my health both physical and mental.

While I wasn't really dropping pounds, I was having many NSV's -- muscle gain (from exercise), increased stamina, smaller bra and clothes. But, most important was my outlook and general well being -- my blood pressure is way down and my meds for that
