Thank you for the kind words! Actually everything went well with the surgery. I just have to learn how to eat and drink all over again. But i honestly believe its a great start!

I am having it at Christiana. That is comforting to know they are so helpful. I am really starting to get nervous, wondering if I am doing the right thing. Did you have those feelings too? I am glad to hear you are doing pretty good. Awesome weight loss!

H! Actually, I am feeling pretty much normal, still some very minor discomfort, wouldn't even call it pain. I am getting the fluids in and yesterday had a few wee bits of some turkey casserole that I pureed. I am going to try some egg salad today, I feel like I need to get the protein going. Sleeping is still is little challenging, can't seem to get comfortable no matter how I try. On the plus, I have lost 15.5 lbs as of today, so feeling REALLY great about that! Thanks so much for checking in, it is so great to have so many people to talk this stuff over with that actually get it...the family, not so much.

Thanks. I am feeling calm and in my happy place. But I'm not sure how I will feel tomorrow.

How is it all going with the pre-diet?

I know the journey into a new and unknown place can be scary and difficult trial for most. But I feel if you take a good look at where you are now and where you want to go it helps. Try to stay calm and content with things you can not change and change the things that you can that will make you happier. In other words find your happy place. You will be fine and be in a few months be in even a happier place.

Thanks so much, I do have a pretty good tolerance for pain so not really worried about that so much. Did you exercise before the surgery? I am thinking I need to get into a solid routine before hand. Work is really crazy now, working 12 hrs a day, 6 days a week, but that will end on Sunday so that is my next goal.
