Hi Amanda yep in Cairns. Thanks. I wish I had been given all my options back then, but anyway I have the right dr know who has just moved to Cairns. I feel great 4 days out, sore of course, but not much stomach pain either considering my stomach has been chopped up ! I just have to remember that fact too for the next 6 weeks, so I don't muck it up. Good luck for Wednesday! One thing that was the worst pain for me was the anesthetic gas, it escapes into your chest & shoulders. It goes within a day or two, I think depending on how soon you can get up. Make sure you keep hitting that morphine button

It is soo worth it, I keep getting excited when I think of the small stomach I now have!

Wondering where your from? Because you talk in kgs and not lbs. I work in kgs also.
I am in Sydney,Australia. Getting sleeved on Wednesday. A big step to take.
I have heard about many banders who end up switching to being sleeved. I originally went to get a band as didn't know about sleeves or bypass surgeries. Then informed of options and long term option right for me and my life style and family history. Went to a group support and listened to others and their stories, so sat down and decided on a sleeve. Set and go as they say.
You sound relieved and happy, that's really good. Keep up the good work.
