Congrats on the 12lbs! It's amazing huh? I had some of those "what have I done to myself" feelings this week and then I think about the weight loss and how long it would have taken me and how hard I would have worked and not even got close. I am very excited about real food too. I don't feel like the liquids are a healthy way to live and despite being overweight, I've always ate pretty healthy. My pain is better. The spot is less painful than the other day so I hope the doc is right! I was able to sleep on my side last night which made a big difference. I feel like I woke up with some energy. Do you work? If so when are you going back? I am nervous about what my colleagues are going to say when I go back on the 29th. If I lose next week almost what I lost this week, I will look very different in a week. I already look different because my face thins out first.

That is an awesome start to your weight loss!!! I had my 1 week post op visit today and I am down 12 lbs. I didn't have to do a pre-surg diet though. They still have me on the liquid diet for another 2wks though and it is killing me!!! I hate it! I can't wait just to eat regular food!!! LOL Today is the first day also that I felt "normal" as far as my energy level goes. I have been feeling so drained since the surgery. So, that was another plus to my day!! I hope that your pain goes away soon.

Yes, I would love that! I feel okay, better each day. Still having some discomfort mainly around gas I think. I have one painful spot where I had a heparin shot that the doc looked at today and felt and said he thinks the pain will go away. I hope so because I can't cough or sneeze without sharp pain. I am a little nauseous. I am okay though. I just made hot dogs and Mac and cheese for the kids for the first time. So I am hopeful each day will be better! I am down a total of 12 since surgery and 27 since the start of liquids so I am happy about that! How do you feel? I will send you a friend request!
