Hi Laura: We also have same surgeon: Dr. Marvin. He's the best.
I was sleeved on 12/27. I seem to be fine. Not much pain, and can drink cl liquids just fine.
I'm just a little tired, that's all.
Im waiting for my Mushies to start. I can't wait.

How do you like Dr. Marv and his staff?

Hope your surgery was successful! Dr. Marvin did mine on the 21st. Leave that OnQ in as long as you can stand it. They told me 48 hours I could take it out. So I couldn't wait to take out just to look it up online to find out it delivers local anesthetic to surgical sites. My stomach muscles still hurt but the hurt pretty bad. I couldn't take the liquid pain meds they made me made me nausous and gave me heart burn. I'm sure you have heard it on here before. Drink your water all 60 oz of it. they first couple of days its hard. I have been drinking ION4 Powerade (sports drink) at night and that has helped me stay hydrated through the night. I slept with a bottle in the bed with me. I went through a depression wondering what I had done, I couldn't barely sip water, Maybe I should have tried harder to diet more. but you will come out of that by Thursday or Friday. Everyday you will get better. Best of Luck and stay in touch with your progress, especially since we have the same doctor. Robin
