It's been a while...

Wow...I can't believe my last post was end of August!! Well since my sleeve on Aug 20th... It's now been 3 months and 3 weeks... I've lost a total of 73 lbs!! I'm working out 4 days a week with a personal trainer for an hour and a half for each of our sessions. I have also lost a total of 30 inches all over. Like my doctor said, the surgery is only another tool in my weight loss decision. My dedication to eating right and exercising daily is all the major part of my weight loss journey. I

Yep... 1 week ago I went under the knife to begin the new phase of my life to better myself. I can honestly say... I felt really good today! I'm taking in more liquids, and tolerating more of the protein shakes (they still have that horrible after taste...yech). I walked around the store again for about 30 minutes... so that felt great. I'm able to get up and sit down with better ease. Still some tinges of pain, of course, but I can actually see the progress.

Today I am feeling better :-) I took a long, hot shower and just stayed under the showerhead for like an hour. After that shower, I felt like a new woman... until I had to bend slightly to get my towel...and the pain on my right side shot through me! LOL!
Well, I went walking around the grocery store today. I got some great tips for other things to "eat"...more like drink for the next few days that will help me tolerate it. But I overdid it, and my right side was aching

Hello All,
I'm LaLa and I really wish I found this website BEFORE I had my Gastric Sleeve surgery...lol. I would have enjoyed reading everyone's blogs and posts and feel alot more prepared. But, at least I found this site and I am given the opportunity to express my feelings with others that may be experiencing the same thing.
