Hey there. I am doing pretty good. The first week was rough and had to really push to get the fluids in. Now I am doing fine and eating is going good too. I actually stalled for three weeks which was depressing to come back from surgery and not lose anything for three weeks. But I know from dieting in the past that after about 3-4 weeks of changing my eating I typically stall for a couple of weeks. Since I had cut back for a week and then did two weeks of the pre-op liquid diet I think my body just said whoa to any further weight loss until it had time to adjust. So now I am finally back to losing again this past week and starting to get into it again. I am pretty much eating soft foods now and feel comfortable with how it is going. SO your stall is pretty typical and can last up to 3 weeks. Just hold tight and don't change what you are doing it is just your body adjusting to the craziness you have put it through.

So what happened with you getting sick? I am glad you figured it out, you sure had a rough time of it after surgery and I hope you are feeling good now. It has been a month since surgery, can you believe it? In some ways it seems longer and other ways it seems like just last week. Have the guys at work been commenting on your loss so far? You are going to have to keep them in line in a few months. Tell Joe I said hi and you hang in there as the pounds melt off of you!

Hey Cutie! Rene (Snohomish) here. How are you doing? I've lost about 15 lbs, but feeling typically impatient! Believe it or not, my hubby met up with a friend from high school last week and they got to talking, his masseuse's sister was in there the same time as we were. When they started talking, she wanted to know if I was the lady who broke her toe. Seriously small world!

Sleeved or not sleeved:
I have had a gastric sleeve.
Biography:
Well my life took a drastic spin last year. I left home because I saw myself slowly dieing there. At my most I weighed 350 pounds and I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes at 17. So I got a job with a drilling company where I met my boyfriend who loves and accepts me as I am but supports my dreams to get healthy. He made my sugery possible. I have joined weight watchers to prepare for sugery and started living healthy and I've already lost 10 pounds. I know it'll be a struggle but I'm bracing for the long road ahead.

I'm in the waiting room waiting for the doctor to call me back and get this started. The women here also getting the sleeve are very friendly and informative. I'm sooo excited!
