Hi guys! I haven't blogged in forever but I've been reading everyone else's everyday.

The funniest thing happened to me yesterday. I picked up my grandson and put him on my lap and found that I actually had a "LAP" for him to sit on! WOW! I used to have to hold onto him while he sat on my very short lap before my surgery. My big belly seemed to always be sitting there (on my lap) whenever I sat down, not leaving much room for anything or anyone else.

WOW! I've only been sleeved for less than 2 months and I'm loving the new found attention! It's weird because I'm not sure how to handle all of it. I mean, it's a complete confidence booster, but I kinda feel just weird about it.

This has been the best decision I have ever made for myself! I only wished I did it sooner.

I'm so happy to be able to get back to work. I packed a protein shake for breakfast and an OIKOS Greek yogurt for lunch. I've been sitting at my desk all day and sipping my water bottle. I forgot to weigh myself this morning so I'll have to update my ticker tomorrow (if I don't forget again). I'm finding that I'm a bit sleepy, probably just because I've been on vacation for the last 3 weeks to recover and had plenty more going on at home than here at the office right now. It's a very slow day today

My whole experience so far has been a good one. Surgery went really well and I was discharged from the hospital the day after. I just wanted to talk about the drain that was removed before I discharged. WOW! That was quite uncomfortable. It didn't hurt, but it didn't feel great either. The nurse had to take a couple of breaks before she pulled the foot long tube out. My suggestion? Breathe thru it and don't be afraid to ask the nurse to take it out slowly.
