  1. I am 5 months post op and have lost 52 lbs. I have started craving Pepsi and chocolate. I drink a lot of good drinks and eat a lot of good protein. My mind is still saying, it's spring, I want a treat. I haven't gained and am steadily losing. I hope everyone is doing great. I have come too far to let a treat do me in.
  2. I am 9 weeks post op and am eating 1/4 cup per meal. I feel either very hungry or overfull. Any advice ??
  3. I had my sleeve on 12/10/13 and I feel I am doing well. The first few day, I really had some strange emotions. The support that I got from this website, helped me thru a rough few days. My emotions finally settled down when I realized I am the same as before, now I just have a smaller stomach. I have had almost no upset stomach and haven't come close to vomiting. I am drinking 3 shakes per day and sip water all day long. I even managed a SF jello and a pudding cup. I am sleeping better. . Thanks everyone
  4. Having a really bad day. I just feel so overwhelmed today. I feel down and really don't know why. I have a big sugar craving and ate a candy bar. I start my two week pre op shakes in two days. Is this normal and will it get better?
  5. I solved this one on my own. I took pictures of myself in sports bra and panties. Upon close examination of these profile pictures, I thought, Good Lord, what a mess. All the uneasy feeling I had about the surgery were instantly gone.

    Thanks for the warm welcome!
  7. My surgery is scheduled on 12/10/13. For the last two months I have been very positive about my decision. I passed the clinical tests and evaluations with flying colors. This past week, after a visit with a close relative that does not support my decision, I have been feeling down. I know he is just concerned about me. I explained that I have done extensive research and that I am at greater risk from comorbid conditions than I am from the surgery. I stressed that I had made my decision and I do not need his permission, he decided to support me. I still can't shake this down feeling. Any advise would be welcomed.
