Congrats on your surgery!! I have not had the sleeve yet. I am curious about dehydration because I hear alot about the struggles to get water in. I live in Vegas and I drink tons of water and just wandering on how you have adjusted?

How are you after your surgery? I am doing well. My surgery was in Mexico and I wasn't thrilled with the whole experience, but no complications or anything. I don't have any hunger, but I still crave things, especially when my family is eating it right in front of me. My weight loss is slower than I expected, but am still happy with the results so far.

Do you feel pressure in your chest when you drink? I do. I still get rumbles in my tummy too as if I am hungry or something. I didn't think that was gonna happen. Also trying to cough up phlem from lungs but coughing really hurts! When do you get to start something to eat besides liquids? My doc said this Friday I can have yogurt, thinned oatmeal, thinned cream of wheat, or strained cream soup. I am not sure I will be up to that.

I think most of my gas pain is gone now. I am still very sore from the incisions though. I am still struggling to move a lot. getting up or down from a seat or bed really hurts me. do you have problems drinking? every sip of water I take ends up in a burp. sometimes I get a pressure in my chest too right after I take a drink.It subsides after a few seconds though. are you experiencing this? I made the monumental mistake of getting on the scale when I got home. I lost 17 pounds pre-op but I put 15 of those pound back on in thehospital! I really hope it is the liquid from the iv or something.

I'd love to hear your experiences with getting drinks in/moving around. I feel pretty sore still and hate getting up/down.
