I have been more than 100 pounds overweight for nearly 10 years. I have tried numerous diets and "cures". Ha I went through all the hoops to get approved for surgery. At my one week post-op appointment I had lost 10 pounds. I was feeling happy and proud of losing weight. The next day, for no known reason, I started eating lindt truffles and ice cream. Why do I sabbotage myself? Why am I my worst enemy? Does anybody have suggestions to keep me from doing this again. Thanks

I am really looking forward to having my surgery. I am tired of being so heavy. I think this is a good decision, even though some people around me don't agree. I have had a few slip ups on my pre-surgery diet. I hope I get on track better and have great results after surgery. I should hear something this week about insurance approval. Hopefully I can get scheduled for over Christmas break. I am glad that my daughters are supportive of my decision. They want me to be healthier and happier.
