I won't face to face with him until day before surgery. I'm pretty vanilla - no co-morbities, not an any meds, never had surgery or any health issues (just fat! Ha) I'm in my mid 30s with good blood pressure, etc so I feel fine with it. They gave me an expectation of Monday meeting him, tues surgery, tues night and possibly wed night hospital and Thursday post op check up. Does that sound about like yours?

Thanks for your support! I may be able to schedule sleeve for 8/27! The scheduler is out of town and is calling me on Monday. I'm beside myself.

I have researched hundreds of surgeons and I feel so confident with Dr Nicholson. Since I am traveling from out of state I have to go on all the information out there on the internet and experiences of people like you. Of course my instincts and the peace God has given me as well. Thanks for taking time to tell me about your journey. I have heard from several other people that Dr. Nick and his staff are amazing. I am so excited about this process and cannot wait to get it started. I am waiting to hear from the PA today to schedule my sleeve! Wow.

I see you recently had your sleeve done by Dr Nicholson in Dallas. Would you be willing to talk to me about it? I have been researching surgeons and believe I have found the right one. I would just love to hear about your experience. How long in the hospital, his care and advice, etc. thanks!!

Calico, welcome to our July group. I see your surgery is the 2nd. I know we have several people with your date, I hope you find all of them as supportive and informative as I have.
