My weight loss journey certainly has been different from many of you on this site. I am 3 1/2 months post op and just today have finally hit 40 lbs. lost. I'm grateful for the loss because I am definitely in a different space than I was back in June. But, man, I thought those 40 lbs. would never happen because it was moving so slowly. At least I thought it was. In hind sight, I have lost approximately 13 lbs. per month, which isn't bad at all. I guess that is what I get for weighing every

I was officially 2 months post op on August 25 and had my 2 month follow up appointment on August 29. The day started with a NSV in that I was able to wear a pair of pants I had not been able to fit in for months. I still can't fit 75% of the clothes in my closet (too small). Here is the recap: lowest weight with band was 198; highest post band weight was 247; weight on surgery day was 240; weight when I left the hospital was 240; and on my 2 month appointment my weight was 216. Only down 24

As of today, I am 1 month and 13 days post op and down 28 lbs. from my highest post lap band and pre surgery weight. I know I should be exercising by now. Why is it that I can't commit to any one exercise program? I fear this will be the downfall to my weight loss if I don't get moving in some sort of way. Any ideas on what I can do to just get started? Any exercise ideas would be much appreciated. I feel like once I get started, I will be fine, but getting started is the problem. Help!!!

Wow... who would have thought I would have made it to his point. Heck, I couldn't even imagine getting to surgery day. But here I am 1 month out. So lets recap. Surgery went extremely well according my dr. I had NO complications after surgery. No pain or nausea. I thought I would go home the next day, but ended up staying in the hospital for two days. That first week started out well on clear liquids. But, by my 1 week follow up, I was so tired all the time. I believe it was because my

I am currently 25 days post op and over the last week have started to experience this really weird abdominal pain. The pain is not located on any of the incisions (which are healing nicely), but located between the largest incision and the smaller one next to it. I'm pretty sure I know what it is (the sutures in the muscles near the large incision). But, my question is has any one else experienced this and how long does it last? I have gone through this process with no complications at all.
