After a journey that began November 2012 and 4 denials from my insurance, I am finally going to have my sleeve surgery on Monday! Wow! It has been a long and emotional ride but it's finally a weekend away! I was scheduled for surgery at 12 noon but after calling to confirm surgery time this AM, I discovered the time has moved to 3:15. I'm a bit bummed about the extra 3 hour wait and am worried I will be super dehydrated since I am not allowed any fluids or ice, but I guess what's another 3 hours if you waited 11 1/2 months right?

No kidding, what a long haul this has been for you!! You are SO close now They will give you plenty of fluids there, so you should be good!
