popsicles, fudge pops, soups, pudding, yogurt

soup ,milk, juice. Anything that goes threw a small strainer or cheese cloth (IMHO) is a liquid.

I'm sorry..I should clarified better...I mean getting in your daily fluids...does milk count as daily fluids, any kind of diet juices count?

I have been instructed that anything with protein (shakes,soups,isopure, ect.) does NOT count toward your liquid intake. Reason being is the protein actually uses up some of your bodies water supply. So the more protein intake the more you should be upping your fluids as well.

I am 9 days post-op and have been getting in 60g of protein and 64 oz.s of fluid since day 5. I went to the Dr. today due to some dizzy spells. He told me I need to up my fluid intake to at least 84 oz.s. Holy Cow! I guess I am going to have to drink night and day to get all that in!

As others have mentioned - water, water with flavorings, powerade zero, sugar free popsicles, vitamin water are all acceptable sources of fluid. I was told any decaf non-alcohol fluid less than 15 calories without protein is acceptable. Powerade zero has been my go to drink.
