Can anyone share what they were eating at this stage and maybe some fool proof meal plans? I'm trying to get in more protein. Also, 2nd day on purees and I am up a lb. Is this pretty standard? Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks

Try to weigh just once a week.....the daily stuff will make you crazy. Soft foods usually at this point...yogurt, cottage cheese, mashed potatoes, tuna with mayo, pretty much mushy foods. Tofu is a great protein source, I just started using it and wish I would have done it sooner. Silken tofu is great in soups and smoothies, even scrambled eggs. Tofu takes on the flavor of whatever you ars cooking. P2B powdered peanut butter is awesome. Add it to smoothies, oatmeal, I make a chinese peanut sauce for chicken with it:-)

My goal: 145...originally 129 but my body said no!
my go-to meal in the early stages were meatballs. I would make my meatballs into 2oz size (very small). I made my own sauce and added ricotta cheese for extra protein. I would then smash up the meatball into the sauce/cheese. It really got me through the early stages.
Meatballs? Was that on your allowed list for puree'd foods? That sounds sooooo delicious! It's not on my list though. Wonder if it would be safe to try? I'm someone who follows things to a T! LOL
I ate homemade meatballs as well with ricotta. I used the slow cooker so it really broke down the meat into very soft protein. I also enjoyed thin sliced deli chicken and ham with cheese, low fat cheese sticks are still my favorite, greek yogurt, pb2, and black beans with salsa and shredded cheese. I'm on the real food stage now and still eat these items as they are easy to make and they don't upset my tummy.
