No Bake Protein Bars

I'm sure someone else has other recipes posted for similar things but .... I hate turning the oven on especially now in Arizona but I got to playing around with some no bake protein bites last nite

Surprisingly turned out very well.
I am going to buy some of this PB substitute to get these down in fat

Just play around to get the consistency you want. Mine turned out a little sticky but that's ok I just cut out a small piece and ate it with a fork.

3 tablespoons of honey
2 cups of granola (I buy granola cereal, same thing as in the bags and cheaper)
3 - 4 tablespoons of Peanut Butter
2 scoops of protein powder (I used vanilla but I am sure it would be ok to use any other flavor)
little dash of milk (I use Carbmaster)

mix and roll into little balls and freeze or lay out in a small pan and cut pieces off as you want them

I also made little quiche egg cups last week - really good and filling.

can of biscuits
pre-cooked turkey crumbles
low fat cheese
onion chopped
garlic whole also chopped
egg beaters or any egg substitute

line the muffin tins with one biscuit
fill with onions and a little garlic (I always keep fresh cloves at home so I just chopped them up)
then a little turkey crumbles
pour the egg beaters into each tin til about 3/4 full

Bake for 20 min at 400

Easy to freeze then when ready to eat top with the cheese

This sounds good (both) I have the pb protein powder - wonder if I could use that? Also, want to try the other recipe - but never heard of turkey crumble - how does that come in a box, frozen, etc?? I live in NYC - where did you buy it?

I'm in Arizona and it's in the frozen section at Fry's (Krogers back in the Midwest) it comes in a red bag and it's made by Jimmy Dean so I am sure every store carries them. I am sure any flavor protein powder will work. I just happen to have only vanilla left from all that I bought a while back

I watched a show last nite on MSNBC and some gal made Protein Bites in bite size portions and I thought hmmm I bet I can do those too

I just wonder if it would have to be mixed first to the consistency of real PB or not. I ordered some actually so we'll see how it turns out

I just bought some PB2 today and it is really good! Only 45 calories in 2T with 5g protein!
