Nice idea, however some people's tastes will change post sleeve. Do not waste your money. Drinks I tolerated, weren't something I would have picked up and haven't post-op. Trial and error is better.

Don't do it!!! Your taste buds are going to change so much after the surgery. I drink Atkins shakes only one flavor. I have purchased the syntax nectar and hated it, so it's sitting in my pantry for now and probably forever. I recently purchased a plain rice protein to mix in food and I'm still trying to work out how to prepare it so as not to taste it. This is a tough one.

You may Not want to stock up Just yet. Your tastebuds change after surgery and things you loved presleeve may disgust you after. I drank protein smoothis for years for breakfast....after surgery they made me sick. Couldnt do greek yogurt either after and that was a daily thing for me too. It was about two months after when I could add both back into my eating plan. I would suggest looking for sample packs of protein and trying several to see which ones appeal to you. I Love Syntrax Nectar flavors....cappucino is my favorite. Others hate it because it is sweet. All trial and error. Best of luck:-)

Don't do it, your taste bud (Palate) changes and you may not like the shakes you stocked up on Post-Op.
I suggest unflavored Protein powder u can mix in juice,milk,broth,jello,etc.....Hope this help!

Premier protein ready to drink chocolate. You can get a four pack at the grocery store so you're not stuck with a bunch. As others have said, you're taste will change. I only did shakes the week before surgery and the second week after.

Biggest protein bang for your buck is Isopure, but it does have that lovingly lab brewed chemically taste to it. It's not the worst protein shake I've had but far from favourite (this goes for the zero carb protein powder and clear rtd). The clear rtd was I good idea for a few days since I went from sensitive to lactose to my body rejecting products with milk almost as soon as it went it. Now, I use mostly Muscle Pharm Combat Vanilla and Celebrate Vitamins ENS Strawberry. The celebrate helps to boost my nutrient and fiber in take, but when I have a sweet craving, the muscle pharm is my fix.

eaemthomas, my NUT suggested that I get the Slimfast High Protein shakes. I got a great deal from Soap.com which came with both the chocolate and vanilla flavors. I think that Amazon might carry them too. Also. as the other members have stated, for the "after" don't stock up on any one flavor. I gave away every strawberry (yuck! ) shake that I had because the flavor no longer appeals to me.
