Yummy Protein Powder??

Can anyone recommend a great tasting protein powder? I have been using Super Advanced Whey Protein (says Body Fortress on the top) and I love the nutritional content (30g of protein in one scoop), but realllllly don't care for the taste. I've been using the chocolate and it wasn;t bad at first, but now all I can taste is chemicals! Any suggestions???

Very few people find one that they stick with the whole time. You will find some people, but most people have the same experience that you did, it tasted fine, now it's gross. I have some that I loved prior to surgery and after surgery I was gagging. I can now drink it again, but it's still gross.

I use Bariatric Advantage, strawberry and chocolate.

Look up the brand: Garden of Life and look at the Raw Protein supplements.
It's Non-GMO and taste good.

I'm not yet sleeved but like the Vanilla Amplify XL, you can get it at GNC. Since they say your tastes change before and after sleeve who knows if I'll like it after.

I have found the higher the protein content for serving the nastier it tastes. I like Muscle Milk Lite, with 20 grams protein, I made the mistake and bought the Muscle Milk with 40 grams protein, it was terrible. Nasty aftertaste the would not go away. All protein drinks to me noe taste ok, within a few minutes I get that nasty aftertaste. In the morning if I start with a protein drink, my stomach feels so bad I can't eat any real food. Muscle Milk powder is not to bad, you can get in Walmart pharmacy department. Don't worry by the time you have your surgery it will all taste bad, luckly a few weks after surgery you can protein bars, just one of the hurdles that you will have, but I think you were will see it is all worth it.

Syntrax Nectars, Strawberry kiwi, it has 23g per scoop, I make a full tumbler twice a day gets me 92g just from the two and it tastes good, I also have the chocolate truffle as well that taste like chocolate milk

I drink the premade adkins chocolate royale... don't think they have a powder though and only 15g of protein... but they are only ones I can stand the taste....

Check out theworldaccordingtoeggface she has a TON of ways to make your protein shakes more tasty and other options for protein!! It has helped me A LOT!!

I also use Syntrax. I've been using the Fuzzy Navel and love the flavor, but just ordered their Lemonaid flavor. It should be here tomorrow. I ordered it from Vitacost.com. I also use the Unjury protein powders. They are more expensive, but VERY high quality. Chocolate, Vanilla, Unflavored and Chicken Soup are the flavors I have tried. You can order them from Unjury.com.

I really love the Syntrax Nectar line - and if you go to mybariatricpantry they offer a sampler package that you can try almost every flavor they offer! My favorites are the Grape, Latte, Caribbean Cooler and Strawberry Mousse!
