    Default Low-sodium Refried Black Beans?

I will be going out of town later this week and would like some suggestions for some good low-sodium refried back beans. My local store only has 2, and neither is low sodium. Old El Paso is out, did not like them at all and the ones I just opened are La Costena which taste better but are really salty to me. I am sodium sensitive and do not salt anything (but french fries in my previous life) and really dislike the taste of salt. Not to mention, the La Costena ones only come in a 20oz size locally which is almost 6 servings for me!

And no, I do not want to make my own. They never taste right. Help would be appreciated!

Have you tried, or even have in your area, the instant refried beans? I don't have any on hand at the moment, so I can't tell you the sodium count, but I love them. Regular and black bean....and you can make as little or as much as you want!

Santa Fe Bean Co., Instant Fat Free Black Refried Beans, 7.25-Ounce Pack (Pack of 8): Amazon.com: Grocery & Gourmet Food

These on amazon are 340mg per 1/3 cup dry serving (hydrates to probably about 2/3 cup). The vegetarian ones are 210mg per serving.
