The Scale game

I tend to record everything I do on this journey. I can admit, I have laid off the food journal on the weekends, and do miss some days during the week. The one thing I do is keep being consistent in how I eat. On days I do not record it, I am not eating a poor as I can “off record”. I just live life, stick to my rules, but do not put pen to paper.

Where am I going with this? Well, I seem to “bounce” around weight, and then see a big drop. This just happened this morning, and I wanted to share.


Below is the last few months of weigh changes:

9/19/2014 273.8
9/23/2014 274
10/27/2014 274.5
11/2/2014 269.8
11/13/2014 272
12/3/2014 267.8
12/6/2014 266.8
12/17/2014 261.6


As you can see, there was a little more than a 5 pound drop in 11 days. Prior, it was much slower, spending an entire month around 274 recently.


When I stall, I do feel like I just want to push forward but, I know this is part of the game. I have 31.6 pounds left to go (if today’s scale sticks), and need to collect as many LB’s as I can!


Does this scale bouncing happen to everyone else like this? I expect to be 264 again soon, and then will not go higher, and start bouncing again.

    I bounce too & I've been stuck in a stall for months! I'm 15 months out

    Yes, I bounce too. I'm about nine weeks out and the scale goes up and down then up and down. I try not to think about it too much otherwise I would go mad.
