I had surgery on August 22 and I have lost a total of 55lbs since surgery and 68 lbs since my highest weight .. Best decision even .. But I am Pregnant now! This was not plan and now i've lost 5lbs in 2 days and I'm freaking out.I don't want my baby to come out under weight .. I should have been more careful .. The baby is a blessing , but was not in my plans for right now..

Have your OB follow you with this pregnancy. It is really important to follow the advice of your nutrition specialist recommendations during pregnancy. If you follow the introduction of both your OB and NUT you should have an awesome pregnancy and healthy baby.

Ive heard other people who were worried about this after surgery. And one is my beautician. She actually weighed less after giving birth. Her baby was born fat and sassy dong great.
Your OB will be able to comfort you!
    Congrats!

There is a group on here for women who had surgery and are now pregnant. There is a lot of great information. They will be a great support system for you. Best of luck to you and your sweet little one.

I am sure you will have a happy healthy baby! But I'm sorry to tell you one bit of bad news. The hair loss you are experiencing now will likely accelerate and last much longer through your pregnancy. It's a drag but true. Pregnancy is one of the causes of Telogen Effluvium and if you suffer from it once you are exponentially more likely to have it again.
I am only telling you because you need to be prepared and I know that it is already a concern for you. Pregnancy, surgery and rapid weight loss are 3 of the 4 biggest reasons for this kind of hair loss. Don't be scared. It will eventually stop and grow back in.
I went wig shopping the other day because it's happened to me before and this time I want to have the option to cover up occasionally.
