Almost 8 months since my op and feel like s new person!

Rate this Entry
Hi all, thought I'd just drop a quick update as I haven't been on for a while. Weight loss has definitely slowed, and my nutritionalist doesn't feel that my body frame will allow me to lose too much more, but then I have lost 69kg in just under 8 months! She is suggesting I may only lose another 3-4kg, although I think I'm going to prove her wrong and I'm aiming for another 7-8kg loss lol. That said, if I weren't to lose anymore weight, I'd be very happy to stay where I am .
Clothing sizes have dramatically reduced and my waist is now 16 inches smaller. I am in just xl tshirts rather than the 4-5xl I was in, and to make things better, I can walk into any shop and buy clothes, rather than ordering from specialist stores.
Food intake is still very sporadic, and I'm still managing little more than 6 spoonfuls of food before feeling full. That said, I don't feel that I need any more and find I have more than enough energy to manage my physical job 5 days a week.
I hope everyone else that has had the op are achieving equally good results and are happy with their decisions, and for those that are waiting for their ops I wish you all the very best. I Certainly don't regret having the op as its given me a second chance of having a healthy life, I hope you don't either . X
