Default New member, sleeved on Jan 7th

    Hi all,
As the title mentions, I was sleeved on Monday. This site has already been a great resource for me as I work through the first stages of the healing process. It's amazing to me the different recommendations on the healing stages I'm reading about depending on who your doctor is. I'm excited to be here and lean on some of you as I gain my footing.

Welcome Nicole Cute screen name - presuming you love pancakes - well, none for now but if you want to try some carb friendly pancakes later on here's a recipe I have been using recently.

    2 oz cream cheese
    2 eggs
1 Tbls coconut flour (optional but makes them more puffy)
    pkt of sweetener
    cinnamon

    Blend
    makes 6 - 4 inch pancakes
2 per serving (I use spray butter and sprinkle on granulated maple sugar)
    nutrition per serving
130 cal (with maple sugar), 10 gms fat, 3 carbs, 6 gms protein
They freeze well, when wrapped individually in plastic wrap, then reheat in the microwave for just a few second at a time til warm.

Hi Pancakes. I was also sleeved on 1/7. How are you feeling? For me it's getting a little easier every day but I'm not sure when I will have enough energy to return to work. I am still constantly hungry. How about you?

Hi everyone. Welcome Pancakes, I joined today too. You and Val are amazing. At less than a week out I didn't even want to look at a computer, let alone actually think. I was in pain and very uncomfortable. You have to take it easy. But please remember that there is genuine hunger and "mental hunger". Fight it. Drink plenty of water and you will usually be ok. You need a good combo of water, protein, vitamins and rest to gain the energy you need to heal properly. Enjoy your journey.
