Default I start my pre-op diet (Almanza) on Monday

I went to see my old pals at the Metabolic Research Center today and told them of my plan to get sleeved. I told them about the pre-op liquid diet and they took charge. They hooked me up with all the supplements, vitamins, protein (soups and drinks) packets. Then I went shopping and picked up all the stuff you kind folks suggested I would need for after surgery. I even got a travel pillow for the plane ride home. I borrowed a small carry on from my sister. This is my last weekend eating anything I want. I am weening myself off caffeine, have been drinking hot tea with peppermint, so soothing.
I am only worried that my cholesterol medicine gives me a very dry mouth all night long and I am up peeing and drinking, lol...
I am still scared but thanks to you all, I feel excited and prepared. Thanks so much!

Jessie, you are so close hang in there. It will be so worth it. I was sleeved on the 26th and anytime I felt weak, I just thought about summer, and my new life. I had to sit through two Christmas dinners and one big Christmas breakfast sipping on broth. Just tell yourself that this is just a few days of your life, then you'll soon be on your way.

JennHug, best wishes to you. You'll do great!

I found going thru the holidays being sleeved wasnt that hard....because im never hungry...my headaches remind me i need to eat...and i cant over eat because i will get sick.....so really it wasnt that hard....but i cant lie..there are times i wish i could eat some of the things i did before i got sleeved. but then i think of what ive accomplished and the weight im losing. I dont want to be a beauty queen and i know saggy skin will happen but what i want is to be healthy.....no more medication less joint pain and to be around for my kids and grandkids.
