Taking Pills

Hello,

I am about 6 weeks out. I have been going over all of the information given to me by my surgeon and I can't seem to find the information about taking pills. I know I can take solid pills now, but what about the capsules? I am so tired of opening them up and tasting those nasty things . Also, can we ever take gel caps again?

I would appreciate any information you may have.

Hi I'm 4 weeks (tomorrow) I take cymbalta everyday which is a capsule ... I've been taking the since about week 2 but I have to stand up to take them

I was told on day 7 anything goes as far as pills needed.....

I've been taking capsules since about day 5, per my doctor.

I have to take lots of pills for my MS, so it was really important to find out when I could stop opening/crushing everything. My drs said one month. I've been taking my pills for about 2 weeks. It helps to stand up, and I definitely have to space them out, and only swallow one at a time.

I started taking vitamin d capsules on day 1 with no problems at all.

If you don't have problems swallowing pills then go for it. I started pills about week 2.

My stomach threw one heck of a hissy fit when i was crushing my pills (my daughter could tell when they hit my stomach because it hurt and i made "the face") so my doc told me a week out i could start taking small pills and any capsule or geltab because they disolved more quickly than the larger pills did.

i've been taking pills since day three...not crushed, not broken, just whole, i swallow one at a time with a little water.
