Week 3 is here already and I am starting to fell like myself. Still tired, but getting better. I've started the "pureed" part of my diet this week and am glad to have food with taste. It's more of a paste but not bad. I made pea soup and am able to eat 3-4 tablespoons. I am down 40 pounds since my Sept. 27th surgery. Fitting into some clothes I have not worn in a while feels pretty darn good. I am going to start jogging/walking this week to try and increase my energy. Good luck to all and if I can answer any questions do not hesitate to ask.

Split pea soup sounds good! A couple weeks ago I made a pot of navy beans and ham and put them in portions in the freezer. I have one of the packages out to thaw right now. Will have to add some broth and toss it in the Vitamix so it counts as a 'full liquid) since I am preop, but the peas have great nutrition and should be a fantastic source of protein for you!!

What sort of foods are you allowed? Can you have the lighter fish? Like cod?
