  1. Almost 8 months

Almost 8 months since I had my surgery, still the best decision I ever made. Last month I saw the doctor and I wasn't losing what my doctor wanted to see so he put me on an half of a diet pill a day. In 2 weeks I have lost another 7 lbs. So as of right now I am 161 down 67 lbs. I wear between a small and medium. I am over the moon excited of the new me.
  2. 6 month update

Well like some of you I started losing my hair around the 4 month mark. After researching it, it is called telogen effluvium. it is very common with bariatric surgery and 40% of people get it. There is nothing that will help stop your hair from falling out. Increasing the protein does not help. The good news is the hair will come back after your 6 month mark. 3. 4 Month check in

Yesterday I went back to see my doctor. Since surgery I have lost 45 lbs. I am in a medium in pants and a small to medium shirt size. I feel so good. Still having problems with chicken. Water is still difficult to drink. Still drinking the protein shakes to try to help get in enough protein. My hair started falling out, I can't believe I still have hair left. I can live with the loss of my hair to be thinner. I hope all is well with everyone else.

I can eat most vegetables and fruit but sometimes I can't get in the protein no matter what I try. I can't eat ice cream anymore it gives me ...
  5. Ice cream question

I have a question for anyone that has had the surgery. I am on a limited diet because of the IC (interstitial Cystitis) so I can't have any caffeine, very limited fruits and vegetables. I started working out almost everyday. I am coming up to my 8th week. My question is, is it so horrible for me to consume a small cup of vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt? I dont have it everyday but is it something that I should work on giving up? I eat fruits and veggies everyday. I found some great veggie burgers, ...
